THINGS I DON’T TELL - New York, 2023

The Locker Room is pleased to announce the “Things I Don’t Tell” exhibition of sculpture work by Marguerite Wibaux, running May 18th - June 30th. This show will be Locker Room’s second with Wibaux and will contain twelve pieces never shown before in New York, exemplary of Wibaux’s signature style of adding trivial objects and twists to classically modeled figures. The result is a formidable yet mesmerizing body of work that combines ancient art forms with sardonic social commentary.

PLEASE LOVE ME, New York 2022

The Locker Room is pleased to announce the “PLEASE LOVE ME” exhibition running May 10th - June 12th, featuring a body of work created by Marguerite Wibaux. The show will be Wibaux’s first presentation of her sculptural work along with her latest large painting, together which form a tribute to the varied expressions of a disoriented contemporary identity.

Horror Vacui - SPRING/BREAK Art show New York, 2021

Horror Vacui - literally fear of empty space - questions the dynamics of power within social media, as the paintings of Marguerite Wibaux appear in a visually packed installation, playing the empowering ability to control one’s narrative against the algorithms and human interventions that determine who gets the attention.

TOGETHER, New York 2021

Presented QuietLunch / curated by Akeem K Duncan

As we hibernate in our respective homes, safe and sound but separated from one another, we cannot help but wonder when we will all be together again. Even when we emerge from confinement, we shuffle back and forth, our faces hidden from view... still disconnected. With all the masked faces that are out and about and the dreary weather that's upon us, TOGETHER is a joint presentation of vibrant patterns, honest faces and open spaces.

February 11th - March 30th. The Yard Flatiron.
